Technical Advisor
Jon Chamberlain (Mountaineering Instructor) is Technical Advisor for a rapidly increasing number of climbing walls and outdoor providers across the UK. As your Technical Advisor, Jon will support your organisation and staff team, provide training, help with equipment issues, provide 'best practice' information. Jon will be a critical friend available to visit sessions, answer e-mail or telephone queries and generally be around to help.
We work with organisations in Newcastle, Gateshead, Northumberland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Durham, and across the UK.
Jon makes no charge for this service. Any training required is charged on a daily basis, but is generally £250 per day plus 25p per mile expenses.

Since installing our new climbing wall in 2013 we have worked closely with Jon and his team at ATNE. The help and instruction we have had has been excellent. The training is constructive and relevant to teaching larger groups on the wall safely, but most importantly it is also made fun. Jon has also been in to work with our sixth form BTec Sport pupils, helping them to become Supervisors on the wall. They have all really really enjoyed the sessions. His manner with both staff and pupils is very calming and reassuring in what can be a stressful situation. We have certainly enjoyed working with ATNE and will definitely be continuing to do so in the future. Many thanks for a brilliant service. ,
